Israel Continues to Murder Palestinians in Gaza Despite Truce

(MENAFN) Three Palestinians lost their lives and several others sustained injuries in separate incidents across the Gaza Strip on Tuesday, according to reports, as violations of the existing ceasefire continued to be recorded.

Reports indicated that one Palestinian was killed and a number of others were wounded when a drone targeted a civilian vehicle traveling along Salah al-Din Street, east of Deir al-Balah in central Gaza.

In another incident, a Palestinian died after being shot in the head by Israeli forces in an area north of Khan Younis in the southern part of the enclave, according to medical sources.

Elsewhere, a drone strike carried out at dawn reportedly hit a group of civilians gathered in the Bani Abu Salah area of central Gaza. The attack resulted in the death of one person and left five others injured, according to information from medical personnel.

Witnesses and local reports also described artillery fire targeting southern sections of Khan Younis. No confirmed casualty figures were immediately available following the shelling.

According to reports from local sources, demolition operations targeting buildings and various facilities continued in locations under Israeli military control in both northern and southern Gaza.

Although a ceasefire came into force on Oct. 10, 2025, reports state that violence has persisted. According to figures released by Gaza authorities, 932 Palestinians have been killed and 2,859 others injured in near-daily incidents since the truce began.

The ceasefire brought an end to Israel's military campaign in Gaza that had continued since October 2023. Palestinian figures indicate that nearly 73,000 people were killed and more than 173,000 were wounded during the conflict, with women and children accounting for a large share of the casualties.
